Wild Abruzzo

Your Invitation To An Exclusive Wildlife Film Event

After a few months of silence I am happy to be back as I am getting more involved into nature and conservation projects in Europe. My tailor-made representation agency for unique and independent hotels and travel experiences is lucky to work with companies like Wildlife Adventures that promotes a new way of travel that offers the chance to discover the wild heart of Italy and help with preservation projects.

Therefore I wanted to let you know about a very important event that will take place here in London this October in support of the Marsican brown bears' preservation. Since 2005 I have supported my friend Paul Lister and The European Nature Trust with one of its European projects that includes also Italy and the stunning National Park of Abruzzo for conservation and re-wilding purposes. The upcoming event is organised by TENT and is called 'Introducing Wild Abruzzo: The Spirit of Untamed Italy' – a premiere film screening event at the beautiful Ham Yard Hotel, Soho, on Tuesday 18th October at 18.45pm. A film produced by the award-winning ecologist, conservationist, podcaster, TV host, and author Chris Morgan together with producer, reporter for Environmental & Wildlife Crime, fellow of The Explorers Club and The Royal Geographical Society Alessio Bariviera.

We will celebrate the unique nature of Abruzzo, while uncovering the wonder of the most threatened bear species in existence.

The Marsican brown bear is a subspecies of the European brown bear, endemic to the Apennine Mountains of Italy. With just 60 individual bears remaining, the Marsican brown bear is perilously close to extinction. To protect this charismatic spirit of Abruzzo, conservation groups need our support. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales for Wild Abruzzo will be donated to Salviamo l’Orso – a conservation group working to safely expand Italy’s population of Marsican brown bears. Purchase your tickets here, and help secure a future for the Marsican brown bear:

I really hope to see you on the 18th October! A presto xx
